AYIO Marketplace is an advertising platform operated by AYIO Financial PTY LTD (ABN 41 670 505 816). We take complaints seriously and investigate every issue we receive.
Our Role
AYIO Marketplace is an advertising platform only. We do not buy, sell, broker, appraise or guarantee any vehicle, equipment, or business listed. Disputes about the condition, description, ownership or sale of a listed item are between the buyer and seller directly.
We will investigate listings that are misleading, fraudulent, or breach our Terms of Use โ and we will remove any listing that breaches our standards.
Step 1 โ Tell Us
If your complaint is about the platform itself, a listing that appears misleading, or how your personal information has been handled, please contact us first:

Include your name, contact details, the listing URL or listing ID if relevant, a summary of the issue, and the outcome you're seeking. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 30 days.
Step 2 โ If You're Not Satisfied
Misleading or deceptive conduct
If you believe a listing was misleading or fraudulent and our response was inadequate, you can contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your state fair trading / consumer affairs regulator.

Privacy
Privacy complaints can be escalated to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Disputes between buyers and sellers
Because AYIO Marketplace is not a party to any sale, we cannot resolve contractual disputes between buyer and seller. Depending on the state and the value of the transaction, you may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or be able to pursue a claim through a small-claims tribunal (e.g. VCAT in Victoria) or the courts. We recommend seeking independent legal advice.
Record Keeping
We retain complaint records for at least 7 years.
