Who We Are
AYIO Marketplace is operated by AYIO Financial PTY LTD (ABN 41 670 505 816), a Melbourne-based Australian company. We built a marketplace specifically for the Australian transport industry — not another generic classified site, not a national catch-all, not a model bolted onto a passenger-vehicle platform.
Our mission is to make selling transport assets simpler and buying them safer. That means free listings for sellers, free browsing for buyers, and honest trust signals on every listing so the marketplace stays credible.
What Makes Us Different
Free for sellers and buyers
No listing fees. No commission. No "boost your listing" surcharges. AYIO Marketplace earns its keep through optional referrals — finance via AYIO Financial, insurance via Gensure. Both clearly labelled, neither required.
Real trust signals
Every seller can complete ABN verification against the live Australian Business Register — a real API call to ABR, not a tick-box. Verified sellers carry a badge on every listing.
SMS phone verification
Twilio-backed verification gives sellers a second proof-of-identity layer. EXIF GPS metadata on photos earns a "photo location verified" badge when the geotag matches the listing.
Built for transport assets
Categories cover the full range: trucks, trailers, machinery, buses, parts, taxi plates, and transport businesses. Each has its own form fields — no more cramming a fleet auction into a passenger-car form.
Australian, not foreign
All data hosted in Sydney. All sellers Australian. Compliance to the Privacy Act 1988 and the APPs, not GDPR applied as a global default. Spam Act 2003 + RFC 8058 unsubscribe on every email.
Private messaging
Phone and email stay private until you choose to share. Buyers and sellers communicate through the platform until both parties are ready to take it offline.
What We're Not
AYIO Marketplace is an advertising platform only. To be clear about what that means:
- A licensed motor car trader (LMCT) or motor dealer
- A finance broker or credit provider
- An insurance broker
- An auctioneer
- An agent or intermediary for any seller or buyer
All transactions, payment, finance, insurance, registration and roadworthy obligations sit with the buyer and seller directly. We facilitate the introduction; we don't get involved in the deal itself.
